Bhopal October 6, 2014 : C-Net Infotech, a leading global IT services provider is shortly expected to commence the work on its proposed state-of-the-art softwaredevelopment campus at Bhopal.
Hon'ble Union Cabinet Minister, Communications and IT, Law and Justice Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad laid the foundation-stone of their proposed software technology campus 'C-NET TECH PARK' in the august presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister, Madhya PradeshShri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today.
Located at the IT Park in Badwai,Near Bhopal Airport, 'C-NET TECH PARK' will be a vibrant and intelligent, state-of-the-art facility that can accommodate more than 2,000 Software Professionals.
MPSEDC has developed a 220-acre IT Park at Badwai, Bhopal. A World class infrastructure is being constructed near Bhopal Airport with privatesector participation to propel investments in IT and ITES industries. A 50 acre Electronic Manufacturing Cluster(EMC) is also being setup as by MP State Government. 'C-NET TECH PARK' will be integral part of this upcoming technology hub.
Housed on more than 5 acres of land, the C-Net Tech Park campus will have a built-up area of 250000 sq ft. C-Net along with their co-investors is set to invest a total investment of Rs. 90 crore.

He also added, "Bhopal is fast emerging as an knowledge Hub and the recent emphasis given by the Madhya Pradesh government on investor –friendly policies and infrastructural development prompted us to build a world class campus here."
The ergonomics for the Campus is ‘Inspirational Space’ and will be one of the completely Green Campuses in India. The C-Net Green Campus will be in compliance with the Green Building Norms and International Environmental Quality Standards and will significantly reduce oreliminate the negative impact of buildings on the environment and occupants. TheCampus will be providing 100% treatment of waste water generated and treatedwater would be used for keeping up the Landscape. Solar energy will be generated and usedappropriately.
The Campus will be built in three phases. The first phase, which is expected to be
completed within two years, will cover a 1,50,000 sq ft built up area and will house over 1000 employees of C-Net and other leading Global IT Companies.The remaining two phases will be completed within five years and will cover a built up area of 1,00,000sqft
Since C-Net is a SEI CMMI Level 3 and ISO 27001 certified company, the centre has been modelled on these crucial quality and security best practices to safeguard client’s business interests.
Also some of the industry’s best practices have been incorporated in the C-Net Campus. Phase-I will see the development of a two Software Technology blocks, A common facilitation centre, an auditorium and a multipurpose sports complex including a state-of-the-art gymnasium and a health food court.
The campus will also have Resource Development blocks, which will be the in-house facility for enabling mentoring, continuous learning, skill up gradation and new skill development in C-Net.
